Why all the negative? – Don’t let this happen to you

Dave Pasin, a Sr. Services Specialist at Demandforce, spends a lot of his day educating our customers on how to most effectively manage both positive and potentially negative reviews from customers. “I waited too long!” “My time is just as important as theirs!” “They didn’t explain the cost!” What compels people to write negative reviews about your practice? Remember, it is harder to get someone to write something nice about you than it is to get someone to write something negative about you or retract a negative review.
Here are the most common complaints that we see:
1. Wait time is too long.
When customers have appointments, they want to be seen at that time. Your patients have jobs too and what frustrates them the most is not getting seen at the given appointment time.
2. People want to be told what is going on.
Many complaints are that customers are not told of what is happening. “I went in for a checkup and when I left I had a $300 bill for a filling” Transparency is a key factor in customer satisfaction – so let your customers know what is going on, and why. (more…)
