  3. Begin Using Some Basic SEO Practices
    • Update your website every few months with new or revised content. Show Google that you are relevant and deserve to be found!
    • Keep the content on your website relevant to what consumers will search for regarding the business.
    • Have a different topic/theme for each page on your website.
    • Add testimonials to your website.
    • Be proactive and request other websites that you may know to link to your website. Traffic from other places is good, usually online directories like profile pages and non-competing businesses you may know.
    • Make sure your newly claimed Google, Yelp and Bing pages link to your website.
  4. Website Analysis
    • Place call-to-action buttons at the top of your page (i.e. Request an Appointment).
    • Keep conversions “one click away” by having call-to-action buttons on every page, usually at the top where they can be easily seen or on a sidebar that is consistent on each page.
  5. Stay Active on Facebook
    • Add different kinds of content. It doesn’t have to be industry related: get creative! Some examples:
      • Images – images are easy to like and easy on the eyes so do not hesitate to post images. Again, not necessary to be industry related! We’ve all seen a funny photo on our Facebook news feed that’s gotten a lot of likes; don’t be afraid to post funny images.
      • Open-ended questions – the goal is to get likes, comments and shares on your posts and asking open-ended questions encourages engagement.
      • Events in the area – Most people that like your Facebook page are going to be from the area so don’t hesitate to post stuff related to the weather, schools in the area, area-specific events, etc.
    • Post your reviews to your Facebook page.
    • Send an email campaign to your clients/patients promoting your Facebook page (See point 2 for help with creating a newsletter!
